Well maybe not the Superwoman you are thinking of. Not the one wearing a cape, red tights, and a blue leotard…but a real Super-Woman.

Yes.  Kim Rhynes, owner of The Brownstone Cafe and Brownstone Catering is Fullerton’s very own Super Woman!  You may not notice it by looking at her but behind the quiet persona lies an industrious, meticulous,  intelligent, caring and loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Friend and successful Business owner.

For the past 15 years Kim has owned the successful Brownstone Cafe located in Downtown Fullerton which serves breakfast and lunch daily and has flourished into a successful catering company.  With Kim’s expertise and attention to detail , Brownstone Catering has successfully catered hundreds of weddings, Holiday parties and the like, catering to those such as Serena Williams and Leslie Neilson, The Anaheim Angels, and many executives,  The Brownstone has become one of the top premier catering companies in Orange and LA Counties.

You might think someone in her position would sit back and let others do the hard labor.  But not Kim, you will still see her grilling up hotcakes, making deliveries, washing dishes and more. Not to mention she is the main coordinator to every event catered by The Brownstone.She is the one who ensures all events go exactly as planned.  Even though Kim has a strong crew behind her, it is important to Kim to stay a  part of her growing staff.  She also believes in “leading by example.”  All of her staff members love and respect their boss, Kim Rhynes.

Behind the scenes, Kim is a Wife and a very active Mother of her 17 month old daughter, Hannah.  Sometimes the days go by too fast and some nights there is not enough sleep but Kim knows it is all worth it.  Exciting things are happening for Kim and The Brownstone and it is all due to Kim’s hard work and dedication!

“It’s hard work,” Kim Says, “but somebody has to do it!”
